In response to the ‘Fade-to-Black’ Drabble request; except this is closer to a Ficlet, I think.

Kadyn’s head and shoulders fell back against the wall and a low cry of bliss left his lips. He closed his eyes and zoned out as waves of pleasure rolled over him. Legs apart, he tried to maintain his balance even though his knees were beginning to buckle.

Logan smiled. He was more than a little pleased with the sounds of arousal emanating above him as he gently stroked his beard over his lover’s recently waxed pubic area. If he kept this up long enough, Kadyn would be ready to ejaculate with very little addition stimulation. But Logan loved to give his man blow jobs.

With thoughts of putting off the fated result for as long as possible, Logan took the engorged penis into his mouth, then took time to establish his technique of changing both the pressure he applied and the tempo of flicking his tongue back and forth while periodically raking his teeth enticingly over the head. He teasingly got his lover as close to the edge as possible and then repeatedly backed off.

About Our Characters

Logan Kendall Walsh was born in Victoria, BC. He is the second child of Justin and Miriam Walsh. He has an older sister, Eve. There was several years age difference between the two siblings due to him being a ’surprise’ baby. They were very close, probably because their family life had always been busy and extremely chaotic.

His Father, a musician, played in various bands in western Canada and his mother was a singer. It’s how his parents met; when Justin’s band played backup for Miriam when she cut a jazz record. After they married, Miriam went back to college and received her teaching degree. She is still teaching music at Simon Fraser University to this day while Justin manages a music store they opened many years ago.

Throughout his informative years, Logan’s sister took care of him. Because she was heavily involved in her school drama club, she often took Logan to rehearsals. He loved to watch the makeup artists doing hair and eventually began pitching in. Before long his talent for the hairdressing trade was noticed and he was asked to do the hair for all the performers even though he was still in his early teens.

At the age of sixteen, he was hired as an apprentice at the major theatre in Victoria and really homed his craft. Upon finishing high school, he attended one of the finest cosmetology schools in British Columbia.

After obtaining his licence, he worked at a long-established salon but ultimately got bored with the day to day workings when the owner refused to allow the exploration of more modern techniques and hairstyles. This led to him eventually setting out on his own as soon as he had the means to do so.

One of his major clients encouraged him to examine his sexuality more closely. Once he accepted who he was, Simon and Logan became very close and then partners. When his lover died, Logan became the beneficiary of a rather substantial inheritance. With those funds, he was able to finally realize his dream to leave city-life behind him and settle in a smaller community and start his own business. Half a year before Simon's death, he had taken Logan to visit and old friend who'd recently retired and moved to small mining community in the Okanagan Valley. That’s how he came to be in Jade Heights.

With his newly-acquired and newly-named beauty parlour, Curl Up & Dye, running smoothly, Logan’s thoughts turned to finding a companion and living out his life in peace and harmony. Although he strongly identifies himself as being of a dominate nature, he is on the lookout for a quiet, calming partner. That is, until he meets Kadyn.

Kadyn Webster Hart was born and raised in Jade Heights and is the youngest of four children and the second son of Samuel and Mariah Hart. His mother owns a hair salon and his father a small convenience store which he will some day hand over to Kadyn. His siblings married and moved to the city, two hundred miles away. But they visit regularly with their families to maintain the closeness the Harts had built over the years.

Kadyn attended school maintaining slightly below average grades and was not inclined to further his education. He was constantly getting into mischief, both at home and at school; his behaviour in church not much better. At times, he was the bane of his mother’s existence but always the sparkle in his father’s eye.

He is honest, friendly and hard working, mischievous, impetuous, a follower…particularly if there is fun involved. He is usually even-tempered but is capable of throwing an impressionable tantrum.

He is also badly in need of a good Top, although he is unaware of that as he has never heard of the lifestyle. That is, until at the tender age of eighteen when he meets Vincent. It is Vincent who helps him discover a lot about himself during the three and a half wonderful years they are together.

Several months after Vincent leaves, Kadyn realizes he still desperately wants and needs a Top. Good news! Someone new has come on the scene who is more than capable of fulfilling his desires.
